Username Admin User Name Mantis account

Help!

Can some one explain the difference between username (for Database) and Admin UserName (To create Database). And then when/where do I create the Mantis administror account? There's too many accounts and passwords for me to handle in one go!

You can ignore the admin user name / password. The reason they are there is to allow the following scenario:

1. Use admin username / password to create the database.
2. Use normal username / password to create/modify/delete data as MantisBT is being used.

Note that the normal username / password can't create / drop tables, and hence you can run a slightly more secure setup.

The default user name / password for MySQL is root and empty password. Although MySQL encourages you during setup to set a password.
