With the current limit formatting in MantisBT, I don't see this very useful. However, as we include more formatting options, I can see the use of such feature. However, it will always be low in the priority list, hence, patches are welcome.

You can easily misplace HTML tags or notice that a given HTML tag is not supported by a particular mantis installation (e.g. blockquotes are not available everywhere), so you'd want to see if your text looks proper before submitting.

Many Mantis installations also do not allow the user to edit any parts of their report after submitting, which is yet another reason for allowing them to preview the full report (or bugnote) before submitting it.

@martinez.ivan The plan is to support previewing the formatting of a text area (e.g. note, description) without submitting the issue, but not previewing the whole issue after the issue is submitted.
