Summary	0013295: 'Access Denied' to news_menu_page.php upon upgrading from 1.2.0 to 1.2.8
Description	adm_permissions_report.php shows "Manage news" is restricted to administrators. Page header shows that I am "Logged in as" an 'administrator'. main_page.php lacks the normal news feed. Navigation menu lacks the "Edit News" entry. News works fine for the 1.2.0 version that is running side-by-side, on the same database :-/

d-man97 2011-09-07 02:58 reporter ~0029651	It's off - guess that's what I get for not doing a diff of the old and new config_defaults_inc.php files. :/ Must have been a defaults change? Maybe make a note in step 5 on http://www.mantisbt.org/manual/manual.installation.upgrading.php to also check for changes to defaults. That or someone before me modified the wrong file!

atrol 2011-09-07 03:27 developer ~0029652	I recommend to read view doc/RELEASE before any update and to have a deeper look at the changelogs of all versions between the old and the new version. The change of the default settings was in version 1.2.0 http://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/changelog_page.php?version_id=108 See 0011102 Read also doc/INSTALL for instructions on how to upgrade.
