Description

If you are going to setup a new user and using German Umlate (f.e. ä, ü etc.) with user- or fullname, you enter an error 500.

This does happen only on Macs (with German OS-X) and is surely being part of the global OS-X 'issue' in handling UTF(-8) at all.

This issue is not reproducible with the current version of MantisBT.

When trying to create a user with German Umlaut you will get
APPLICATION ERROR # 805
The username is invalid. Usernames may only contain Latin letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, dots, plus signs and underscores.

We recommend that you upgrade to the latest stable version [1]; if after doing so the problem persists, do not hesitate to reopen the issue, with additional relevant information.
