0010594: Create field: Date, Type: date, no set "Possible Values " and "Default Value ", why cannot enter date to update issue

Description

I am new tester, I use mantis v1.1.6 version
I found a problem
1. when report a issue , => OK
2. To manage/create custom field : name "close date"
3. Set type : date
4. NO set any "Possible Values " and "Default Value " (becuase I dont' knoe how to set)
5. Create the date field => seem to smoothly
6. View the issue, update issue, see date field, select "2009", "6", "16"
7. update
Result: no any date to view, why?? why cannot see input date??
I ever update # 9979 file (bug_report.php and bug.update.php and gpc-api.php)
But my issue some data lost......
Could you help me ??? Thank you very much....
