Target Version | 1.1.7 | Fixed in Version | 1.1.7
Summary | 0010192: Repeated Target versions
Description | We use mantis to manage issues in our product. As the product is massive and made up of several quite large components with their own area of responsibility we have a parent project of the overall product and several sub-projects for each broad area, and then use categories within this. This has caused us a few problems that we are gradually over coming (first of which is the lack of inherited properties) but I have noticed the 'target version' gets duplicated when you 'view issues'; see steps to reproduce.
Steps To Reproduce | Create project A Go to Project A level and filter on target version; 1.1 is listed twice but both seem to have the same result.
Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
As all the 1.1's seem to do the same thing i am led to believe the search is string based and that list could therefore be made distinct. |

Targetting for 1.1.7. |

what is the process for submitting a bug in a perceived particular version of Mantis? Do you need to discuss it on the forum first, to get some colloaboration and agreement that it is a real bug, or should someone just go ahead and submit a new issue and the community will go ahead and weed out the bad ones? I've posted a few perceived bugs on the forums, but no one has really commented yet. Also about about enhancemnts? thanks. Is there anyway to subscribe to this partiuclar bug so when a new update occurs I could get notified? |

@thungp, for any bugs you find, you should first do a reasonable search through the issues already reported here, and if it hasn't you should report it yourself. The forums are generally not paid much attention by developers because it is meant more for community support and questions, not to mention the limited time we have in the first place. Feature requests may similarly be reported here, provided you again search for existing reports first. As for subscribing to bugs, adding yourself to the monitor list will do exactly that. Cheers |

Fix committed to 1.1.7 and 1.2.x development trees. |
